Hello

I am passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves by removing obstacles to wellness.

My Story

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2018. My experience in the behavioral health field began in 2010 with work in various settings: Group housing, therapeutic support within a preschool setting, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient counseling. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Seton Hall University. I am also trained in trauma-informed care. I seek to create a safe, calming environment for all of my clients.

I utilize an integrative approach to care. Each case is developed with the individual’s unique needs. Clients are able to use any form of creative expression to convey their concerns (i.e. art, poetry, literature, music). I look at the holistic health of the individual, not just their mental health. Within evidenced-based practices, I work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I emphasize a solution-focused approach.

I am passionate about working with children and adolescents, and focus on those with school needs. I am available to attend IEP and 504 meetings as needed. I work on building relationships with school counselors.

I also work with adults up to age 60. As with children, I assist young adults transitioning to and from college, as well as throughout their higher education experience. I work with adults on various needs regarding career, life adjustments, transitions, and grief/loss.

I help people with the following:

  • Stress/Anxiety

  • Mood

  • Grief/Loss

  • Relationship issues

  • Self-Esteem

  • Trauma (Certified)

  • Transitions/Life changes
